Mohamed Elneny's red card against Southampton overturned

The FA has overturned the red card Mohamed Elneny received in Sunday's 3-2 win against Southampton following an appeal from Arsenal.
The Egypt international was shown a straight red by referee Andre Marriner for raising his hands in a confrontation with Saints defender Cedric in stoppage time at the Emirates Stadium.
Southampton defender Jack Stephens was also sent off in the closing stages of the match for a clash with Jack Wilshere, who received a booking.
A statement from the FA read: "Mohamed Elneny will be available for Arsenal's next three games after an Independent Regulatory Commission accepted that he was wrongly dismissed for violent conduct against Southampton on Sunday, April 8, 2018."
In his post-match press conference on Sunday, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said he was surprised by the decision to send off Elneny and suggested the club would appeal the decision.
"I was a bit surprised Elneny was sent off," he said.
"He's a fair player, not an aggressive player. Has he touched the player in his face or not? I don't know. If he has done it I think it's accidental."

Anthony Martial reaching a crossroads in his Manchester United career

Alexis Sanchez's arrival at Old Trafford has pushed Anthony Martial further down the Manchester United pecking order and his future is uncertain. Is it time to move on? His displays presented a conundrum for Mourinho, but Sanchez had been brought in at great expense and he was not there to sit on the bench. The Chilean took up residency on the left straight away, with Martial switching to the right to make room. The message was clear: Martial had moved behind Sanchez in the pecking order before a ball had been kicked. Unable to cut inside and use his stronger foot and with his confidence seemingly dented, Martial's performances suffered....

Aspas made it 2-0 after 57 minutes before netting his second three minutes later. The Spain international, who played for Sevilla during the 2014/15 season on loan from Liverpool, completed his hat-trick 12 minutes before the end to wrap up a convincing win. Alaves  took a giant step towards survival with a 2-0 home victory over  Getafe  in Saturday's early kick-off. After a goalless first half, Alaves broke the deadlock three minutes into the second half when Victor Laguardia headed home. And the host...
